• Sample of Your Work: ((This is from a Naruto forum)) Mizuki sat on top of the fairly large building her clan called home. It was circular with red tiled roof over the whole thing and an open ceiling in the middle covered with glass. Inside the glass she could see plants from all over the globe, and inside the garden were three rooms, one for Izao, Harana and Mizuki herself. The clan leader and his direct family lived in a special section of the house, surrounded by the rest of the members.

She sat on the tip of the roof, it was on top of one of her uncle’s rooms, but he was out on a mission for a while and she was taking care of his things. She sighed and lifted up her hand, casting a shadow on her face. It was her families blessing, but the way she came into it was the most painful thing she ever felt, her families Kekkai Genkai. But she lived through it and got more powerful because of it; her father even told her she was more powerful than he was at her age. Then she heard a noise and rolled back her head, it was one of her cousins, Zazu. He was a tall boy, with the traditional black hair and greenish eyes that were common among the Hanako family. He was a genin, but he planned to take the Chuunin exams in a few months.

“Hey Mizuki!” He practically yelled, jumping right next to her and sitting on the balls of his feet. “I was thinking about going to the market with Jay and Taro and we were wondering if you were coming? Plus Jay owes me money and I’ll need your help to get it out of him.” He muttered, smiling sheepishly.

“No thanks, I am pretty sure Izao will send me out for some sort of errand soon and then I’ll help you with Jay. Just tell him to pay you what he owes.” Jay and Zazu were always making bets on how the families missions would go and constantly owed each other all sums of money, and somehow Mizuki had to lay down the law with money, even though she had constantly told the two to stop betting on the family and everyone would be happy, but they just ignored her and Taro.

Zazu sighed and lightly kicked her shoulder. “Lazy bum.” Then he jumped over her and onto the street, disappearing into the streaming masses of Kohno, leaving Mizuki smiling. She loved all her cousins, they were raised like brothers and sisters since she was an only child, but she was the next Clan leader, she would be their ‘Leader’ in a few years instead of their friend, but that would be years. For now, they were as close as family could get, and that was all she could ask for.

• Personality: When she is around other people, Angel is a very happy and outgoing personality. It is even a little infectious at some points. She always thinks the best of people when she can, but that doesn’t mean she just blindly puts her trust in everyone. If they have given them a reason to hate them, she will, if she knows nothing about you, she will treat you as kindly as she can.

Her one weakness though, is games. She mostly plays board games and games of logic, anything to test her mind. Though her absolute favorite thing to do is plan battle strategies. What she lacks in strength is made up for in brains. In battle she will keep her cheerful disposition, but it is mostly a ruse at that point, to help her think.

When she is alone or with people she deeply trusts, however, she seems to take on a completely different personality. She stays quiet, like she’s always thinking about something important. She will gladly put in her opinion when she thinks she needs to, but she borders on depression when she is like this. No one knows why she acts like this, and dodges around the subject and dons her cheery personality when she wants to stop it all together.

• History: Angel has had a fairly normal life. She doesn’t know where she was born or who her parents were, because she was put up for adoption when she was an infant. She lived her first few years in an orphanage, until she was adopted by Harris and Louise Cecilia at the age of 5. From then on she lived in the town of Lounsberg.

She had three other siblings, all of them adopted and all of them younger then her. Angel was actually happy, she was getting good grades, had plenty of friends, and was generally going in the right direction.

Then one day Angel and her brother, Jacob, were going out to study. Jacob was only a year younger than her at the time. Jacob insisted that they should have gone home earlier, but Angel was determined to finish everything up. On the way home, Angel and Jacob were hit by a car. Angel survived, but her little brother wasn’t as lucky.

She was devastated, blaming herself for Jacob’s death, even though everyone said it wasn’t. Eventually she was able to get her grades back up and start to become the person she once was. But she broke the rules more often and stopped listening to her parents, sometimes not coming home at all.
